About UPSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam
The UPSEE BHMCT is the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, organized by UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) for seeking candidates in an undergraduate course in Hotel Management and catering technology. This is a state level examination and the scores obtained in the exams will be considered for admissions in the reputed colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The UPSEE is usually held during the month of April. UPSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria
The intermediate examination of UP board which is equivalent to the plus two level examination serves as the eligibility criteria for UPSEE BHMCT. Syllogisms, number series, finding the odd one from a group are in the reasoning section. Arithmetic questions are of grade 10 standards. Common application of physics and chemistry should be known. UPSEE BHMCT Entrance Exam pattern
The UPSEE consists of 12 question papers for admission to various streams. The question paper 5 is for BHMCT and consists of about 75 objective type multiple choice questions. The entrance exam pattern for BHMCT has 4 sections and is called as Aptitude test for general awareness. The mark is out of 300 and conducted in offline mode. The answers are to be marked using blue or black ball point pen on the special OMR sheet provided. For each correct answer, one can score 4 marks and there is no negative marks for wrong answers. The cutoff percentage for general group is 25% and for reservation group is 20%.
