National Institute of Technology (NIT) of Chattisgarh is situated at Raipur. The college is established in the year 1956 under the name Government College of Mining and Metallurgy with. In the year 2005, the institution has been declared as NIT. With the mission of re-engineer the engineering education and with great objectives, the college is expanding the number of departments gradually.
