The B.A.B.L Courses are highly regarded profession in the field of Law. The candidate who completes the B.A.B.L Courses receives a Postgraduate Certificate at the end of the integrated course. The degree course of the B.A.B.L Courses is an Honours Degree. The LLB is a course done after the BA Honours Degree in general cases, but in this case the honours BA degree and the LLB law degree go side by side and by the time the course ends, the candidate has both the Honours Undergraduate Degree and a Postgraduate Degree.

What Does The B.A.B.L Courses Comprise Of?

The B.A.B.L Courses are highly extensive and the course is imparted in an intensive form. The course is very extensive as the sense that it covers a number of law programs along with the Honours Degree in the discipline that is chosen.

The "Pre –Law" Course is conducted as part of the introduction to the law courses. This is conducted in the first two years or the first four semesters of the B.A.B.L Courses. Some of the subjects undertaken in the “Pre-Law” course include subjects of Social Science slice Economics, Sociality, Logic, Political Science and related subjects.

The law subjects are actually undertaken in the next three years or the six semesters that follow. In the Law programs, a number of areas of study in law are conducted like Family Law, Labour Laws, Corporate Law, Property Law, International Law, Constitutional Law and other related areas of study.

Since most of the law subjects are touched upon quite intensively, the student can take up any one of the law programs for a further post-graduate study in law like the LLM course in which the student can specialize in a particular subject which can lead to a profession.

Requirements for Enrolment in the BA.LLB Integrated Course

The admission requirement for the B.A.B.L Courses is quite simple. The candidate is required to have a 45% aggregate marks in the higher secondary examination or 10+2 examination as the case may be.

There is a condition on the age limit which is that the candidate must be of 20 years of age as of 1st June of the year of joined.

Employed candidate are not eligible to join the BA.LLB courses in India

The duration of the B.A.B.L Courses is of 5 years or ten Semesters, and at the end of the integrated course 5 years the candidate is a qualified lawyer.
